1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy contains important information about the collection, use and disclosure of personal and commercial information by Veneration.

By completing an Application form, you acknowledge and consent to all of the matters set out in this Privacy Policy, including the collection, use and disclosure of your personal or commercial information by Veneration.


2. Information that Veneration will collect

Customer information
Veneration will collect and / or maintain all information provided to us on an application form, this information may include but is not limited to the following details:

c) Entity Trading Name
d) Drivers Licence Number
e) Date of Birth & sex
f) Employer Details
g) Address(es)
h) Telephone Numbers(s)
i) ABN / ACN / ARBN Number
j) Director / Proprietor / Sole Trader details (including Name, Address & DOB)
k) Bank Account Details
l) Credit Card Details
m) Email Address(es)
n) Username(s) & Password(s)

This information will be collected with your knowledge and participation. If you choose not to provide this information, Veneration may decline to accept your application. It will not normally be possible for you to deal with Veneration anonymously.

4. Purposes for which information is collected
We collect, use and disclose personal & commercial information for a number purposes, including:

a) To perform administrative tasks and manage business operations related to your account and any associated loyalty program, including dispute resolution.

d) For fraud and crime prevention and investigation;

e) To comply with legislative and regulatory requirements;

f) For assessment of your application for credit and if it is approved, for the establishment and subsequent administration of the credit facility; see below

Credit application information
For assessment of your application for credit, Veneration may also collect the following information about you, from a Credit Reporting Agency or other credit worthiness information business.

a) a Credit Report containing personal information about you.

b) a Credit Report containing your commercial activities and / or commercial credit worthiness.

5. Disclosure of your personal information
Your information may have to be disclosed to perform some of the activities noted above as well as other circumstances including:

a) Authorised employees of Veneration and their agents for the purpose of administering your account for billing or credit collection purposes;

b) Service providers such as call centres, data analysts, professional advisors, auditors, delivery companies, mailing organisations;

c) Any other organisations as required by law;

d) Credit reporting agencies, other financial institutions and credit providers, nominated referees (including your employer) and debt collection agencies;

Notice of disclosure of your credit information to a credit reporting agency. (Privacy Act 1988)

Veneration may give information about you to a credit reporting agency, for the following purposes:
• to obtain a consumer credit report about you, and/or
• to allow the credit reporting agency to create or maintain a credit information file containing information about you.
The information is limited to:
• Identity particulars - your name, sex, address (and the previous two addresses) date of birth, name of employer, and drivers licence number.
• your application for credit or commercial credit - the fact that you have applied for credit and the amount.
• The fact that Veneration is a current credit provider to you.
• loan repayments which are overdue by more than 60 days, and for which debt collection action has started.
• advice that your loan repayments are no longer overdue in respect of any default that has been listed.
• information that, in the opinion of Veneration you have committed a serious credit infringement (that is, fraudulently or shown an intention not to comply with your credit obligations).
• dishonoured cheques - cheques drawn by you for $100 or more which have been dishonoured more than once.
• that credit provided to you by Veneration has been paid or otherwise discharged.

Period to which this understanding applies

This information may be given before, during or after the provision of credit to you.

e) Any other purpose authorised by the National Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988.

Otherwise Veneration will use its reasonable endeavours to avoid the disclosure of your personal information, save that aggregated demographic information may be disclosed so long as the information is unable to identify you or any other individual.

6. Accessing your personal information
You can contact Veneration to request a copy of your personal information by emailing: privacy@veneration.com.au Veneration will attend to your request within 7 days of the request being received.

7. Data quality
Veneration will use its reasonable endeavours to ensure the accuracy and quality of the information collected about you. Should personal information that you know Veneration has collected about you change, it is your responsibility to bring the changes to Veneration's attention which you may do by logging into the client section of our website or by emailing: privacy@veneration.com.au

8. Data security
Veneration will endeavour to protect personal information about you that we hold and transmit, from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. Partial customer information is accessible over the Internet, but only from a secure password-protected site. Veneration's Internet servers utilise the latest security technologies to protect your personal information including, but not limited to SSL technology.

9. Amendments to Privacy Policy
Veneration may amend the terms applying to the use of your personal information at any time, subject to informing you of the amendments by publishing the revised policy on its Web site, emailing it and / or mailing it to customers.
